Use the journal article page and DOI, where assigned, to identify the version of record. Bibliographic metadata should remain connected to corrections, updates and retraction notices.

Repository deposits

When depositing a CC BY 4.0 article in a repository, retain author attribution, the original citation, the licence and a link to the published record. Identify the deposited version accurately and preserve notices affecting the article.
