Electronic voting systems have emerged as efficient alternatives to traditional paper-based election processes. Manual election systems often suffer from inaccuracies, delays, administrative complexity, and risks of impersonation or duplicate voting. This paper presents the design and implementation of a secure Online Election System developed using Python Flask and MySQL. The system provides structured election management including administrator control, voter authentication, candidate registration, secure vote casting, real-time monitoring, and automated result generation. The proposed solution ensures vote integrity, prevents duplicate voting, and maintains voter anonymity through controlled database architecture. The platform is designed for institutional elections such as colleges and organizations where reliability, transparency, and efficiency are critical. Experimental evaluation demonstrates improved accuracy, reduced administrative workload, and faster result processing compared to conventional methods.
