Abstract

This paper provides an extensive analysis and summary of High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). It offers a comprehensive understanding of the analytical and predictive procedures defined in the latest video coding standard introduced by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group and ISO/IEC MPEG, thereby contributing to the field of video processing. The study also discusses various algorithms and architectural requirements for implementation, including techniques such as parallelism, pipelining, finite state machines (FSM), and other related methods.
